Brilliant has my unqualified recommendation! NYC desperately needed this practice to open, given all the corporate consolidation happening locally (and countrywide) with veterinary practices. Karen and company have assembled an amazing team and personal experience only possible because of their deep roots in and knowledge of the NYC animal welfare community.

They effectively handled my feral, Shelby, and the communication from Dr. Bishop on what they were going to do, why, timeline etc was appreciated. Vet techs top notch. Follow up on test results prompt and easy to understand. I will eagerly be moving the care for my dog and other cats to this practice.

This is one of the best veterinarian groups in New York City. I highly recommend them. The entire staff is quite knowledgeable, and there is a very welcoming spirit. But more importantly, the veterinarians are excellent. I felt that my dog was going to be in very good hands which is the best feeling that one could have with a pet. Took our nine-month-old cocker spaniel here for spay. Our experience was easy, convenient, and thorough. They were able to fit our puppy in the operating schedule very quickly (within a week of the initial visit), and the price was on the lower end of the quotes I had received throughout the UWS area. They called the day after the procedure to ensure we had no questions or concerns. We are two weeks out, and she has had no complications. The incision site looks great. The staff was professional and great with our very anxious girl.

Brilliant Veterinary Care took EXCELLENT care of my dog who suddenly became ill. I got updates 3x a day from the vet on our dog’s status, test results, plans for care, etc. I felt 1) truly informed, 2) that I was partnering with the care team, and 3) that our dog was receiving wonderful care! Dr. Duperval was so patient and thorough — she listened to our concerns! The other staff were kind, thoughtful, professional, and treated us & our dog respectfully!
